Okay, I'll start.

This book went very fast for me, and it flowed well. I can't say I agreed with the decisions these characters made, but it didn't interfere with my enjoyement of the story. In all actuality, I think I like his characters better because they are flawed and imperfect and do stupid things sometimes. Even when they act in a way that I think is immoral, it's interesting.
I hate the whole 'victim' thing. I wanted to smack hell out of Juliet even as I felt sorry for her. I know that children who are raised in abusive environments seek out those kinds of relationships, and I know she was young, but it's hard for me not to judge. I should work on that, I guess.
Letty, as a character, bothers me. I really kind of feel that she should have some therapy.

She's waaay to advanced for her age, and she has a problem asking for help. Even though she feels close to her adopted parents, she couldn't find some way to have them help her? Also, I don't care what kind of environment you're raised in, I don't think you'd be that adult at 14.
All in all, I really liked this book. My interest never wavered, and I think John Sandford is a fine writer.

for me.
